Born on November 8, 1994 in Rossville, Georgia, United States, Lauren Alaina Kristine Suddeth is an American country singer-songwriter and actress. Alaina took the stage at just the tender age of 3 and grew up listening to country music. After winning several beauty and talent competitions, she made her first solid move towards making a name in the music industry when she auditioned for the tenth season of American Idol. She was a runner-up and soon after signed deals with Interscope Records, Mercury Nashville, and 19 Recordings. Her debut album Wildflower was released in 2011 and peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200 chart. Alaina released her second album Road Less Traveled which received similar success. Her phenomenal talent has earned her several awards including 2 CMT Music Awards, American Country Awards, and other prestigious awards. She also serves as the brand ambassador for America’s oldest brewing company’s product FLIGHT by Yuengling.
