Lea Michele (born Lea Michele Sarfati) is an American actress, singer, and author known for her performance in the Fox comedy-drama series, Glee (2009-2015), for which she received a Satellite Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and three People’s Choice Awards. With childhood roots on Broadway, Michele landed a role in the 2006 Broadway production of Spring Awakening, which led her to television and film roles. Other acting credits include, Sons of Anarchy (2014) and Scream Queens (2015-2016). In 2014, she released her debut studio album, Louder, which peaked at No. 4 on the US Albums chart. Most recently, Michele is recording her second studio album, which will showcase her theatrical background.
