Lil Peep Bio

Lil Peep, born as Gustav Ahr on November 1st, 1996 in Long Beach, New York is an American rapper that first emerged on the scene in 2015. Debuting on SoundCloud, his musical style is gloomy and melodic full of southern rap and rock sample. He cites his musical influences coming from artists such as Gucci Mane, Red Hot Chili Peppers, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, and Riff Raff.

In 2015 Lil Peep released his first mixtape, Lil Peep Part One, and generated around 400,000 plays its first week.  He released two more mixtapes, Feelz and Live Forever, before breaking through in 2016 with the mixtapes Crybaby and Hellboy.  The success of these mixtapes allowed Lil Peep to self-release his debut album Come Over When You’re Sober Prt. 1, which charted on the Czech Albums chart at number 56. The album featured a collaboration with Lil Tracy on the song “Awful Things.”
