Lil Skies Bio
Lil Skies otherwise known as Kimetrius Foose was born in 1998 in Pennsylvania. Mentored at a young age by his father, Michael Burton Jr is a fellow musician, known as Dark Skies. With several singles released independently, such as Red Roses and The Goop, he caught the eye of Atlantic Records, who signed him in late 2017.
His first mixtape with a label was released in January of 2018, and was titled Life of a Dark Rose. The album debuted at number 23 and wen ton to peak at number ten on the US charts. An impressive feat for such an inexperienced and young rapper. His latest achievement was a national tour with Lil Uzi Vert in mid 2017, this then grew his fanbase.
