Liv Warfield is an American singer and songwriter who performs R&B and soul music. She was born in Peoria, Illinois, United States, on July 10, 1979. Liv began her music career in 2004 with the release of her debut studio project Embrace Me, but she became famous in 2009 when she began performing with Prince as a member of the New Power Generation. Her solo discography includes the singles Stay (Soul Lifted), Why Do You Lie, Don’t Say Much, and the Unexpected, and the album Chrysalis. Liv was featured in Ida Nielsen’s album Time 2 Stop Worrying alongside Kuku Agami, Son of Light, Shelby J., and Donna Grantis.
