Lucas & Steve Bio
Lucas & Steve is an EDM duo formed in 2010 in Maastricht, Netherlands. They are known for future house and progressive house sounds, using programming, lush guitars, keyboard, synthesizer, and piano. The duo consists of Lucas de Wert and Steven Jansen. They began releasing their tracks in 2011 under independent labels like Housepital Records and WL77. In 2013, they released tracks under HotFingers. However, they signed with Spinnin' Deep in 2014.
They have remixed several artists, including Kraak & Smaak, Sick Individuals, and Felix Jaehn. They collaborated with Laurent Wolf on Calinda 2K15 in 2015. The track hit the Belgian singles chart. Their 2016 track with Sam Feldt/Wulf, Summer on You, reached number 12 on the Dutch chart.
In 2020, they released their debut album, Letters to Remember, featuring guest vocals from Kiesza, Clara Mae, Alida, and so on. They have worked with Armin van Buuren, Bassjackers, Ummet Ozcan, Breathe Carolina, Firebeatz, and Mike Williams. Lucas & Steve have performed at Tomorrowland’s Mainstage, Creamfields, AMF, WorldClubDome, Parookaville, Summerburst, Sziget Festival, ElectroBeach, and more. They have been acknowledged by BUMA (The Netherlands), Fun Radio (France), DJ Mag, and MTV.
