Luka Modric Bio
Luka Modric is a Croatian professional footballer who plays on the position of a midfielder for the well-known Spanish football club Real Madrid and is the captain of the Croatia national team. He was born on September 9, 1985, in Zadar, Croatia, and has started playing football from an early age. Luka Modric has been considered to be one of the best midfielders of his generation, while also being recognized as the best Croatian footballer of all time. Although he plays as central midfielder, he is also able to play on other positions such as an attacking midfielder and a deep-lying playmaker, as part events have shown. He joined Real Madrid in the season 2012/2013 after Real Madrid has agreed to pay a £30 million transfer fee to Tottenham for which Luka Modric has been playing since 2008.
