Machine Head Bio

Machine Head is an American metal music band that was formed in 1991, in Oakland, California. The band signed with Roadrunner Records and then released their debut album in 1994, titled “Burn My Eyes”, which is 11 tracks long. Their second album, “More Things Change”, was released in 1997, and it was followed by 1999 “The Burning Red”, the album that included the hit song “From This Day”. In 2001, the album “Supercharger” was released, and it was followed by two albums in 2003, titled “Through the Ashes of Empires” and “Hellalive”. In 2007, “The Blackening” was released. Their last two albums for Roadrunner Records were 2011 “Unto the Locust” and “Machine F***king Head Live!”. They signed with Nuclear Blast, and the band released their first album for the label in 2014, titled “Bloodstone & Diamonds”, which was followed by “Catharsis” in 2018.
