Madison Taylor Kocian is an American artistic gymnast who is best known for her medal-winning performances at the Olympics, World Championships, and the Pan American Championships. She was born in Dallas, Texas, United States, on June 15, 1997. Throughout Madison’s junior career, Kocian represented the USA at the WOGA Classic and City of Jesolo Trophy. She turned professional in 2013 when she competed at the Secret U.S Classic. Along with Simone Biles, Laurie Hernandez, Aly Raisman, and Gabby Douglas, she is part of the famed Final Five artistic gymnastics team that won gold for the USA at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Her career highlights include one gold medal for Team Gymnastics and one silver model for Uneven Bars at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, three gold medals at the World Championships for Team Gymnastics and Uneven Bars, and a gold medal for Team Gymnastics at the Pan American Championships. She has been featured on the TV shows CBS This Morning, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Today.
