Maitreyi Ramakrishnan Bio

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is a Canadian actress who was born on December 28, 2001, in Mississauga, Ontario. She debuted as an actress in 2020 when she was casted to play Devi Vishwakumar, the lead role of the Netflix teen comedy series “Never Have I Ever”, where she worked opposite Poorna Jagannathan and Darren Barnet. For this role she received three nominations at the MTV Movie + TV Awards, the Film Independent Spirit Awards and Canadian Screen Awards. In 202 she also appeared on an episode of the TV series “Acting for a Cause”. As a voice actress she played Priya in the movie “Red” and plays Zipp Storm on the famous children’s series “My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale” as well as the short film “My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Special”.
