Man With A Mission Bio
Man With A Mission (also known as MWAM) is a 5-man Japanese band formed in 2010 in Tokyo, Japan. The group consists of Tokyo Tanaka (Vocalist & Leader), Jean-Ken Johnny (Guitarist, Vocalist & Rapper), Kamikaze Boy (Bassist & Backing vocalist), DJ Santa Monica (DJ & Sampler), and Spear Rib (Drummer). At the end of 2010, they issued Welcome to the New World, which was their debut EP. The full album Man with a Mission followed the next summer, and they released Trick or Treat (another EP) which included a cover for Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit. Mash Up the World was released in 2012 and in 2014 the follow-up Don’t Feel the Distance (EP) followed. One of their singles (Survival) was used as a theme song for Street Fighter V video game. World on Fire arrived in 2016, and in 2017 Dead End in Tokyo was released through Epic records.
