Manika is a vocalist that creates high-energy club music as well as R&B-heavy pop tunes. Born Manika Ward in 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Manika was musical from a young age. After several outstanding performance awards at the National Performing Arts Festival in New York City, she was discovered by Frank DiLeo. He worked with artists like Michael Jackson. With him, Manika released several singles like “Boyz R Dumb” in 2009 and “Just Can’t Let You Go”, which featured Lil Twist, in 2011. In 2012 she rose to fame when she joined One Direction on tour. She then released a debut album, “Manika (Double Album)”, which had tracks like “My Way” and “Good Girls.” In 2014 she released “Vegas Party.”
