Marcus Samuelsson Bio
Marcus Samuelsson, a famous American celebrity chef, was born on January 25, 1971, in the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After finishing his education at the Culinary Institute of Sweden, he went on to gain experience working as an apprentice at Restaurant Aquavi. Marcus has been honoured with a James Beard Award and has appeared on the television shows Chopped and Top Chef Masters in addition to Iron Chef America. He is also a recipient of the James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef Award. In the year 2020, he became involved with Bon Appetit in the capacity of both a brand advisor and a guest editor for the publication. His tenure with Bon Appetit began in the year 2020. He was the subject of an interview that was conducted by Terry Gross and later aired on National Public Radio. In addition to that, he has cooked meals for the former president, Barack Obama.
