Mark McGrath Bio

Mark McGrath is a California-based musician, actor, and reality TV celebrity. In his music career, he’s the lead singer for the funk metal band Sugar Ray, with a career spanning the late 1980s to the present. Sugar Ray has released six studio albums and had a number of top-ten charting singles, including “Every Morning” (1999), #3 Billboard Hot 100, and “Someday” (1999), #7; two of their albums “Floored” and “14:59,”  sold double and triple platinum, respectively.

Outside of Sugar Ray, Mark McGrath has also kept up an acting career, appearing in films and TV shows such as the “Sharknado” series, “Wild Things” (1998), “Raising Helen” (2004), and “Scooby-Doo” (2002). Aside from acting roles, he often guest-stars in Sugar Ray appearances as themselves. In 2018, Mark McGrath was a contestant on the first ever US version of the reality TV show “Celebrity Big Brother.”
