Martha Raddatz is a reporter born on 14th February 1953 in Idaho, United States. She is best known for her extensive career, working with some of the leading television networks. Raddatz started her career in 1993 with WCVB-TV. In 1999, she started working as the State Department correspondent for ABC News. In June 2006, Raddatz received a tip about the killing of the renowned terrorist Aby Musab al-Zarqawi. This made ABC News the first television network to break the news.
Raddatz is also an author, having written the book “The Long Road Home: A Story of War and Family”, which became a New York Times bestseller. In November 2008, she was appointed the Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent at ABC. In October 2012, she was the moderator of the Vice-president debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. She also appeared in an episode of the 2017 television series “Homeland” as a reporter.
