Matador Bio
Gavin Lynch (popularly known as Matador, his online moniker) is an Irish chef, sound engineer, music producer and DJ who was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland.
He set up The Matador project in December 2006 simply to write and release his early work Nightworks. His journey began when he listened to his turned-out-favorite DJ compilations which include Dave Clarke‘s World Service and Richie Hawtin’s Decks Efx 909. His remix of Perc – Work Softer gained massive support from top industry leaders which propelled Gavin to do some high-end prints including Trapez, Cocoon, 1605, Rekluse and Harthouse. Gavin dropped the album Ructions in 2016. His singles include 2020’s Desire and Model 10 and he released his DJ Mix Enter.ibiza 2014 in 2014 featuring Bella Sarris, Apollonia & Matthew Hawtin.
