Matthew Thomas Skiba, known as Matt Skiba, is a singer and songwriter born on February 24, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. His genres include pop punk, emo, and alternative rock. Matt is associated with several labels, including Asian Man, Vagrant, Epic, Heart and Skull, Epitaph, BMG, and Columbia.
Matt was part of Blink-182, Matt Skiba and the Sekrets, Heavens, and theHELL. He contributed to Blink-182's California (2016), California Deluxe Edition (2017), and Nine (2019). Matt recorded a split acoustic EP with Kevin Seconds in 2002. He released his debut solo album, Demos, in 2010.
Matt is currently the lead singer of the punk rock group Alkaline Trio.
