Matthew Koma, born Matthew Bair on June 2, 1987 in Seaford, New York, is an American singer and songwriter, as well as a DJ and music producer. He has written many hit songs like Zedd‘s “Spectrum”, and the Grammy-winning song “Clarity”, which was also with Zedd. His early collaborations include work with Hardwell, Zedd, Alesso, Tiësto, and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. He was later signed to Interscope Records with the support of Jimmy Iovine. His first EP, “Parachute”, came in May 2012. He has gone on tour with LMFAO and Far East Movement as well as Owl City and Ellie Goulding. In 2017, Koma produced tracks for Shania Twain. He is also known as Hilary Duff’s husband.
