Melissa George Bio
Australian actress Melissa George, born 6th August 1976 in Perth, Australia, started her acting career in the Australian soap, Home and Away. George started out in modelling, winning Western Australia's Teenage Model of the Year. Melissa’s long-running role in Home and Away saw her win two Logie Awards. The actress went on to make a health and fitness video, and a sleepwear line. She also starred in the drama series Roar, alongside Heath Ledger. The actress jumped ship to LA, landing roles in various projects including Dark City, Friends, Alias, In Treatment, Grey’s Anatomy, Lie to Me, Charmed, The Butterfly Tree, The Amityville Horror, Hunted, The Good Wife, and Heartbeat. Her performance in In Treatment snagged her a Golden Globe nomination.
