Mercy Chinwo Bio
On September 5, 1990, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Mercy Chinwo was born. She is a Nigerian gospel musician, singer-songwriter, minister, businesswoman, and Instagram sensation. The second season of Nigerian Idol, the country of Nigeria's equivalent of American Idol, was won by her in 2012. On her mercychinwo Instagram, where she has over 2.5 million followers, she shares updates on her modelling career, music, and other media. Both The Cross My Gaze and Satisfied, her albums, were released in 2018 and 2020, respectively. She has received numerous honours for her music over the years, including Gospel Artiste of the Year at the 2020 AFRIMMA Awards. Additionally, she uploads her music to MercyChinwo, a YouTube channel with over 100,000 subscribers, where it is available. Together with actor Majid Michel, she also starred in the 2013 film House of Gold.
