Clifford Smith, better-known as Method Man, is a rapper, producer, and actor from Staten Island, NY. He began his music career as a member of East Coast hip-hop group, Wu-Tang Clan. He is well-known for his 1996 collaboration with Mary J. Blige in ‘I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By,’ earning the duo a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. Method Man is known for his participation in the successful Hard Knock Life Tour with Jay Z, Redman, Ja Rule, and DMX. In 2015, he released The Meth Lab, through Tommy Boy Records, while touring with Redman and participating in Wu-Tang Clan’s sixth studio album.
