Michael Jordan Bio

Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 17, 1963. He went to the University of North Carolina. He was the first round, the third pick of the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA Draft. He was the shooting guard and small forward. He made his NBA debut on October 26, 1984. He participated in the All-Star Games 14 times. He was the Rookie of the Year and Sporting News Rookie of the Year during the 1984-85 season. He has been the Finals Most Valuable Player six times, the All-Star Game MVP three times, the Most Valuable Player five times, and the Sporting News MVP seven times. He is a ten-time scoring champ. He has been the All-Defensive selectee nine times and an All-NBA 11 times.
