Miguel Sanó Bio
Miguel Sano is a well-known baseball player who was born in the Dominican Republic on May 11th, 1993. He was considered to be a promising player and ultimately decided to sign with the Minnesota Twins, where he was awarded a signing bonus of $3.15 million. The documentary Pelotero, which was released in 2012, went into detail about his signing. Following the conclusion of the 2012 baseball season, MLB.com ranked the Dominican third baseman as the most promising third base prospect in all of baseball. As a member of the Beloit Snappers, he finished first in the Midwest League in home runs and runs batted in. In addition to this, he and Jason Kubel both participated in the minor league system of the Twins by playing for the AA New Britain Rock Cats.
