Mike Chen Bio
YouTuber Chen Xing, who is better known as Mike Xing Chen is an American YouTuber. The Chinese-origin YouTube star was born in Xi’an, China and has gained popularity for his channel, Strictly Dumpling. Before starting his channel, he wanted to be an FBI agent and studied accounting. After college, he began to work with Morgan Stanley but left after a year to work as the head digital strategist for the non-profit media outlet New Tang Dynasty television to increase awareness about human rights violence in China. During this time, he started a channel titled Off the Great Wall which was focused on Chinese culture. In 2013, he began to make food vlogs and then created multiple channels like Cook With Mike, Eat With Mikey, Strictly Dumpling and The Chen Dynasty with co-host, Dan Chen. He also runs a channel that talks about paranormal phenomena titled Beyond Science. In 2019, he earned a Short Awards nomination for the Best in Food category.
