Mike Krol is an American musician and graphic designer who was born on May 19, 1984, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When Krol was 7 years old, he began to play drums on his older brother’s kit, and when he was in high school, he taught himself to play guitar with an electric guitar he borrowed from a friend. He later started to write songs and to play for numerous bands between the Midwest and the East Coast. He decided to move to the West Coast, working as a graphic designer by day, and worked for bands like Sleeping in the Aviary and Icarus Himself. In 2011, Krol released his debut album, “I Hate Jazz”, a record that had the participation of Michael Sienkowski, the drummer for Sleeping in the Aviary. In 2013, he released his second album, “Trust Fund”. This last record earned Krol some recognition, and then released his third album, titled “Turkey”, a collection titled “Mike Krol is Never Dead: The First Two Records” and, in 2019, he released another album, “Power Chords”.
