Mike Maignan Bio
Mike Peterson Maignan is a professional soccer player born in Cayenne, French Guiana, France, on July 3, 1995. He played at several youth academies, including Villiers le Bel JS (2003–2009) and Paris Saint-Germain (2009–2015). His professional club debut was with Lille Olympique Sporting Club against Stade Rennais FC in September 2015.
Mike joined AC Milan in 2021, wearing the number 16 jersey. The goalkeeper won the 2020/21 Ligue 1 with Lille and the 2021/22 Serie A with AC Milan. He played on the France U16, U17, U18, U19, U20, and U21. Mike captained the U17 team at the 2012 European Championship. He made his national debut for France in October 2020 against Ukraine.
Mike won the 2020/21 UEFA Nations League with France. He has appeared in 39 games for AC Milan. He won the Best Goalkeeper award for the 2021/22 Serie A season, keeping 17 clean sheets in 32 appearances.
