Mimoza Bio
Mimoza is a rapidly rising talent as an R&B/pop singer with an electronic edge. She is of Kosovo extraction and Canadian citizenship. She prides herself on a storyteller nature to her songs. Her 2016 debut EP “Uproot” dropped to great reviews in Canada, Quebec and Eastern Europe, and earned her an “artist to watch” nod from CBC Canada Premiere. Since then she’s released two more singles, “Well of Melodies” and “Winterlude.”
She takes inspiration from other women of pop, such as Kate Bush and Bjork, but also from Albanian music. She’s been featured on German DJ Thomas Gold’s single “Dreamer.” Mimoza has contributed to the soundtracks of German films such as “3 Turken & 1 Baby” and “Fack ju Göhte 2,” in collaboration with German artists Beatzarre and Djorkaeff.
