Modestep Bio

Modestep is an Electro-dubstep band with 4 members from London. The founding members, brothers Josh and Tony Friend, have been into music practically all of their lives. Tony DJ’d, getting his first deck as a teen and Josh learned the piano at age 10. Modestep formed in 2010. Their single ‘Feel Good’ came out in 2011 and reached the top 10 of the UK dance chart.  The single ‘Sunlight’ made it to the top 20 of the pop chart and was released on Polydor records. The album Evolution Theory was produced in 2013. After that Modestep went on tour, then after changing out a few band members and adding in Kyle Deek and Pat Lundy Modestep released  London Road in 2015. London Road was created in a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere  instead of a traditional studio.
