Mohombi Bio
Mohombi Nzasi Moupondo is a Congolese-Swedish musician, singer, songwriter, and dancer who was born on October 17, 1986. He grew up in the Stockholm suburbs of Norsborg and Kista. RedOne's first signing to 2101 Records, a joint venture between Universal Music Group and RedOne, was Mohombi. Mohombi and his brother Djo Moupondo were members of the Swedish hip hop group Avalon from 2000 to 2008. In August 2010, Mohombi released his first solo single, "Bumpy Ride." His debut studio album MoveMeant was released in February 2011 and became a worldwide sensation, charting in the top ten in various countries.
