As a Los Angeles-based singer, Moses Sumney is also a song-writer. He started working on his music when he was still a child. However, he was so shy to tell others that he is writing songs. The solution he did was to hide his compositions inside his mattress. By the age of 20, he went on to study at UCLA to learn creative writing.
During his years in UCLA, he was able to developed self-esteem when it comes to his musical passion. He purchased a guitar and learned how to play all by himself. As an artist, he matured in UCLA, playing with all other known musicians within the university. He had his debut single entitled “Mid-City Island.”
