Munmun Dutta Bio

Munmun Dutta is an Indian television actress and model who was born on September 28, 1987, in Durgapur, West Bengal. When she was living in Pune, she started participating in various fashion shows, and it was around that time when she arrived at Mumbai to debut as an actress in 2004, when she appeared on an Indian TV series titled ‘Hum Sab Baraati’ as Meethi.

In 2005, Dutta had her film debut, appearing in ‘Mumbai Express’, a movie directed by Kamal Haasan. The following year she appeared in a movie titled ‘Holiday’. It was in 2008, however, that she landed the role that would make her known. She was cast in the role of Babita Iyer in the popular sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, which first aired in 2008 and continues to this day. In total, Dutta appeared in over 2.763 episodes.
