Nafessa Williams Bio
Nafessa Williams is an actress from the United States. She is most recognized for her roles as Nicole Gordon in Meek Mill's film Streets in 2011, Deanna Forbes on ABC's One Life to Live in 2011, and Dr. Charlotte Piel on CBS's drama Code Black in 2016.
She starred as Anissa Pierce in The CW's Black Lightning from 2018 to 2021.
Williams grew up in the West Philadelphia neighborhood. Robert E. Lamberton High School was her alma mater. Williams majored in criminal justice at West Chester University and interned with the District Attorney's Office's homicide section.
