Nazanin Boniadi is an Iranian actress who was born on May 22nd 1982 in Tehran, Iran. She was born in Tehran and raised in London, though she moved to the United States she was 19 years old. She got her Bachelors in Biological Sciences from the University of California and also won the Chang Pin Chun Undergraduate Research Award for her work. She studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London under Lloyd Trott.
Nazanin is perhaps best known for her roles in popular Hollywood films lis Charlie Wilson’s War, Iron Man, and The Nest Three Days. Her appearance as CIA analyst Fara Sherazi on Showtime’s Homeland is also very well known for which she shared a SAG Award nomination in 2015. She also appeared in the 2016 MGM-Paramount remake of Ben-Hur which was directed by Timur Bekmambetov.
