Netsky Bio
Drum and bass producer and musician Netsky was born Boris Daenen on April 5, 1989 in Edegem, Belgium. He got his first music production software when he was twelve and started off making house and electro music. A few years later, Netsky suddenly found himself an in-demand producer, helped along by the rise of social media sites such as MySpace and YouTube. His music became well-known and he started playing at clubs. In 2009, Netsky worked on Witchcraft for Pendulum, Only Man for Audio Bullies, and Glory Days (Never Again) for Mutated Forms and in December of that year, he signed a deal with Hospital Records. His self-titled debut album was released on May 30, 2010.
In April 2012, Netsky premiered the show Netsky LIVE! at Hospitality Brixton. The show consisted of a full band with whom Netsky now tours. He has completed tours of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. His second album, 2, was released on June 25, 2012.
Netsky was most recently featured on the compilation album Hospital Records: We Are 18. His third album is expected to be released in late 2014.
