Nobigdyl was born on November 23, 1991, on Hayward, California. He made his breakthrough as a Christian rapper when he dropped Smoke Signal on January 2015. The release became available for free download in Rapzilla, an online Christian hip-hop magazine. The album included the singles “Beauty” featuring Chad Jones, “Indie,” and “Pot of Gold.” In the same year, he became a featured artist on Derek Minor’s Empire and released the EP Summer Camp Sessions. He also worked with Elija Wiggins in the song “Someday Soon.”
He dropped Canopy which contained ten tracks in 2017 which included “Treetops” and “Purple Dinosaur.” The following year, the full-length album Solar made it to No. 22 of Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart. The release includes the tracks “Bad Motives” featuring Medisin, “Cordial” featuring Weathrman, and “Be a Man” featuring WATUPRG. He also featured on DJ Mykael V’s single “Mia” with WATUPRG.
