Palms Trax Bio
Jay Donaldson, popularly known as Palms Trax is a producer and DJ born to musical parents in Saltford, UK in 1991.
Trax grew up in the English Riviera lands. After learning jazz piano and participating in Metallica covers, he moved to London to study Music Technology in 2010. However, he moved back home after realizing the course wasn't enhancing his skills. Soon, he left for Berlin to pursue his passion.
According to Trax, moving to Berlin was the best decision of his life. The release of his Equation EP in 2015 buttressed his melodic rhythms and infectious sounds, which served as a turning point in his career. He was contacted by Dekmantel, and the rest was history.
Trax has released multiple EPs and singles, such as Outfight and In Gold. He has an upcoming show on September 11 at the Repercussion Festival in Manchester, England. He is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Trax’s story serves as an inspiration to aspiring DJs.
