Pedri Bio
Pedro González López, widely known as Pedri, is a professional soccer player born in Tegueste, Tenerife, Spain, on November 25, 2002. He spent his youth career at CF Juventud Laguna (2015–2018) and Las Palmas (2018-2019). He made his professional debut for Las Palmas and scored four goals in 36 appearances.
Pedri joined Barcelona in 2020, debuting in September 2020. His first goal for Barcelona was in October 2020 during the UEFA Champions League group stage. His first season at the club earned him the Golden Boy and the Kopa Trophy. He won the 2020/21 Copa del Rey with the team. Pedri is associated with Kick Out Plastic.
Pedri played for Spain's U17, U18, U19, and U21 teams. He represented Spain U23 at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, winning the silver medal. His accolades include UEFA European Championship Young Player of the Tournament, Trofeo Aldo Rovira, IFFHS World's Best Youth (U20) Player, and Premi Barça Jugadors. He appeared on UEFA Champions League Breakthrough XI and La Liga Team of the Season.
