Peter Cullen Bio
Peter Cullen is a Canadian actor and voice actor born in Montreal, Canada on July 28, 1941. He is best known for voicing the character Optimus Prime in the original animated series Transformers and in the live-action movies and video games. He is also known for voicing the character Eeyore in the Winnie the Pooh franchise. Throughout his career he has voiced a multitude of popular characters in animated and live-action films and television shows. He has voiced characters in films like King Kong, Predator, Pooh’s Grand Adventure, Treasure Planet, Transformers, The Tigger Movie, Yogi and the Invasion of the Space Bears, and many more. Peter has also voiced characters in television shows like The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, The Smurfs, Spider-Man, Ghostbusters, My Little Pony, Chip ’n Dale Rescue Rangers, Tom & Jerry Kids, Knight Rider, among others. He has been the voice of Optimus Prime in just about every Transformers video game and has also voiced Eeyore in the video game Piglet’s Big Game. He has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award and two Golden Raspberry Awards.
