Peter Schmeichel Bio
Peter Bolesław Schmeichel, MBE was born on 18th November, 1963 in Gladsaxe Municipality, Denmark. He is a professional football player who plays as a goalkeeper, and a global ambassador for Manchester United. Schmeichel entered the world of football in 1992 with Manchester United and it wasn't long before he became one of their best players. He led them to the 1999 UEFA Champions League and helped them claim 5 Premier League titles. He won the UEFA Goalkeeper of the Year four times and was voted as the World's Best Goalkeeper by the IFHS. Schmeichel also played for Aston Villa and Manchester City. In the movies, he is known for his appearances on “Aftenshowet”, “Back of the Net”, “Go' morgen Danmark”, “A Question of Sport”, and many more.
