Tyson Fury Bio

Tyson Fury was born in Wythenshawe, Manchester on August 12, 1988. He participated in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships and bagged a bronze medal. He represented England in the EU Junior Championships in 2007. In 2008, he won the ABA National Championship Super-heavyweight category. In the same year, he started his career in pro boxing. His amateur record was 31-4 with 26 wins by KO.

In 2009, Fury won the WBO Inter-continental heavyweight title. He won the European, WBO International and the vacant British heavyweight title un 2014 when he went against Dereck Chisora. Fury earned the WBA, IBF, and the WBO championship belt after beating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. In the same year, Ring Magazine named him as the Fighter of the Year. In 2016, Fury decided to vacate his WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles.
