Petra Kvitova is a well-known tennis player who was born on March 8th, 1990 in Bilovec, Czech Republic. Her father, Jiri, got her interested in tennis and was inspired by the Czech tennis player Martina Navratilova. She continued to play competitively until the age of 16, when she made the decision to go professional. She triumphed in the singles competition at the Wimbledon Championships in 2011 and 2014, as well as the WTA Tour Championships in 2011. In 2012, she competed in both the French Open and the Australian Open and made it to the semi-finals of both tournaments. Additionally, she achieved the record for the third most aces served by any woman by serving 36 of them at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships. This places her in third place for all time.
