Raven Saunders Bio
Raven Saunders is an American track & field athlete who competes in the shot put and discus throw events. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina, United States, on May 15, 1996.
Raven spent her formative years with the track & field teams at Burke High School, Southern Illinois University, and the University of Mississippi, and in 2014, she broke the national high school shotput record. She has since had a successful senior career that has seen her win silver in the shotput at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, which also featured Lijiao Gong, Valerie Adams, and Auriol Dongmo.
