Rapper PGF Nuk hails from Chicago and has been rapping since 2017. When the friend who introduced him to rap passed away tragically, Nuk decided to honour his memory by building a career in the industry. His first song, ‘HenDusse,’ was released in 2019. While his initial years showcased calm yet energy, his music became more aggressive and assertive. In 2021, he released the single ‘Waddup,’ which would change his career. He became an internet sensation with over 50 million views on different versions of the ‘Waddup,’ video. This led to a record deal with Alamo Records. Nuk claims that he came up with the track while cooking bacon. He was just freestyling while cooking when his girlfriend recorded the video, leading to the viral track. The remixed video of the track became even more popular, and he began to attract fans worldwide. His first release with Alamo Records was ‘Switch Music,’ which was received with equal love and enthusiasm from his fans.
