Planningtorock Bio
Planningtorock whose real name was Janie Rostron and later legally changed to Jam Rostron, was born in Bolton England and is based in Berlin, Germany. She is trained in Violin from age 8. After her move to Germany she began playing in clubs. In 2004 she launched the record EP Eins and in 2005 released a compilation LP titled Carousel of Souls with songs from The Knife and The Soft Pink Truth. In 2006 she released her debut album Have it All. In 2010 she collaborated again with The Knife and Mount Sims to write an opera for the Danish Performance Group Hotel Pro Forma titled Tomorrow in a Year.
