Post Animal Bio
Post Animal is an American rock band that was formed in 2014 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The band was made up of Dalton Allison (bass, vocals), Jake Hirshland (guitar, keyboard, vocals), Matt Williams (guitar, vocals), Joe Keery (guitar, vocals), and Javi Reyes (guitar, vocals).
Post Animal’s debut EP Post Animal Perform the Most Curious Water Activities dropped in 2015. The next year it was followed by a series of three two-track singles which were later collected on the Garden Series EP in July that same year (2016). Their debut full-length album When I Think of You in a Castle was recorded in Watervliet, Michigan. The album was preceded by their first single Special Moment. The album was self-released in April 2018 when the band was signed to Polyvinyl Records. The second full-length effort Forward Motion Godyssey appeared in February 2020 and it was produced and mixed by Allison and Adam Thein.
