Quentin Tarantino Bio

Quentin Tarantino was born on March 27, 1963 in Knoxville, Tennessee. His career started in the late 1980s when he co-wrote and directed the movie My Best Friend’s Birthday. He wrote, directed, and acted in the film Reservoir Dogs (1992). He also wrote, directed and acted in the film Pulp Fiction (1994), which earned him an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

He later wrote and directed films like Kill Bill (2003), Inglorious Basterds (2009), Django Unchained (2011) and The Hateful Eight (2015). He has been critically acclaimed for his non-linear screenplays and violent scenes. A limited release of The Hateful Eight was done in 70mm film in select theatres around the country, but the screening was limited because many theatres do not have the equipment to play this film style anymore.
