Quinton Byfield Bio
Quinton Byfield is an ice hockey player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Kings, which competes in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on 19th August 2002 in Ontario, Canada, Byfield started his career as a rookie and went on to win the OHL Rookie of the Year. During the 2018 – 2019 season, he scored the highest number of goals. He was then selected by the Los Angeles Kings (2nd overall pick) in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
He made his NHL debut in a loss against the Anaheim Ducks in April 2021. In October of the same year, he fractured his ankle, which prevented him from joining the Kings. In January 2022, he scored his first goal in the NHL on 27th January against the New York Islanders. He also scored against the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL playoff.
