RAC Bio

RAC is the stage name of the Portuguese DJ and record producer André Allen Anjos. He has created over 200 remixes for a number of music artists. His remixes have been featured in advertisements for Hulu, Citigroup and others. He created the Remix Artist Collective in 2007 in Portland, Oregon. Anjos is currently the only member of the group, but has other members join him for live performances and recording. The groups first release was the single “Sleeping Lessons (RAC Mix).” In 2008 they released their debut EP titled RAC VOL. 1. They have since released the EPs Sega Vs. Nintendo, RAC VOL. 1.5, Sega Vs. Nintendo 2, RAC VOL. 2, Don’t Talk To, Cheap Sunglasses (Remixes), and Back of the Car. In 2010 they released their debut studio album titled Holy Rollers OST. They have also released the albums Chapter One, Strangers, Master Spy, and Ego. RAC has performed at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Firefly Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot and more.
