Radical Face is the name of a multidisciplinary art project, involving music, visual arts and poetry, led by American singer, and writer Ben Cooper. He was born on the 24th of February, 1982, in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S. He began writing poetry, stories and songs as a teenager, and in 2000 he joined the band Helicopter Project as the lead singer. He then released music under several aliases before working on his first album as Radical Face. The album, called “The Junkyard Chandelier” was self-released and available for free on his website. In 2007, he released his first official release, “Ghost”, followed a few years later by the EP “Touch the Sky”. Then, he began working on a project that would take him many years to complete, his “Family Tree Project”. It included four studio albums, as well as a series of pictures and a book. He has done many collaborations through his career, including the album “Clone” which he created alongside Richard Colado.
