Reggie Yates is an English actor, writer, director, and DJ. He was born on May 31, 1983, in Archway, London. His parents, Reginald Yates and Felicia Asante are from Ghana. Growing up on the Northside of London, he attended Central Foundation Boys’ School. During his career, he has worked as host next to Fearne Cotton on BBC Radio 1 and also in the TV Show “Release the Hounds” for four years. He is known for his participation in different productions such as “Top of the Tops”, “The Voice UK”, and “Doctor Who”. He also has produced non-fiction films. One of them was “Inside Teen Gangs”, made for BBC3, released in 2013. He also hosted the “Autistic Superstars” production that helped him get an RTS nomination. His next production was “Tourettes: Let Me Entertain You”.
